A Cherry Country Hepplewhite
Bedside Table with Splayed Legs and Shaped Top, probably
Connecticut, c.1790

This table has an unusual
and beautiful shaped top, with drawer and splayed
legs. It is a country piece, and the top shows much
wear (see detail) but is beautiful in its own way.
It retains its original trapezoidal shaped drawer
and has no major breaks or alterations.
