ITEM SW01313: A Federal Mahogany Carved Card Table, Salem, c.1820

This is a beautifully crafted card table with a wonderfully carved fluted vase which sits on a small circular base with gadrooning. All is supported on fluted saber legs which are embellished with their original brass rosettes on top and paw brass feet below. The apron is figured crotch mahogany and the solid board top is striped mahogany with fluted edging.

This is a expertly stylized piece of the highest craftsmanship in completely original condition; we have French polished it.
