ITEM SW01339: A Fine Sheraton Carved Mahogany Side Chair, England, c.1790

While only a single chair, this is a beautifully crafted chair in the finest Sheraton tradition. Note the magnificent carving on the crest, splat and chair stiles. Also, note the bowed front seat and the stop-fluted legs. It is upholstered in an old tapestry, which is in good condition.

As a single hall chair or bedroom chair, this is a fabulous late 18th century chair with an old surface, probably first, in fine condition.
