This table retains its first surface and while a rather mundane form, the turnings, (i.e. rear supports) are finely executed, as is the backsplash, fully dovetailed to the flanking side supports. Note the drawer dovetail, sharp and precise. It is of museum quality and is notable for the scroll supports prevalent during the 1830-40 period.
