ITEM SW00755: Chippendale Mahogany Wing Chair on Carved Cabriole Legs w/ Claw & Ball Feet probably English, c.1780

This is a fully developed Chippendale wing chair of good size with beautifully carved claw and ball feet. The form relates to the later Chippendale period and is often found in American examples as well (see Prickett ad). We have reupholstered this chair in a beautiful Chinese silk.
