ITEM SW00937: A Mahogany Queen Anne Oval Drop Leaf Table, England, c.1760

This drop leaf table is composed of solid one-board leaves and top. The legs are typical English turned legs with beautifully turned pad feet. It is indeed a heavy table composed of dense mahogany of good figure. Oval drop leaf tables have always been the most desirable and useful form, as opposed to one with square leaves. It is in original condition, which we have cleaned and waxed.
